Benjamin Searle

"I’m Benjamin Edward Searle, born and raised in Lee-on-the-Solent and a proud Gosport resident for over two decades. I’ve watched our once-bustling town centre fade, and I know how much potential our community still has. My working life began at Polarcup/Huhtamaki—first on the factory floor, then as an electrical maintenance engineer after completing my apprenticeship. Long shifts and real-world graft taught me resilience, responsibility, and the value of plainspoken honesty—something people here know me for.

I was drawn to Reform UK because its members speak with clarity, common sense, and conviction. They don’t hide behind focus groups or hollow slogans; they stand by their principles and say what many ordinary people are already thinking. Their commitment to putting the public first, cutting waste, and defending freedoms resonates completely with my own beliefs—I feel like I’ve finally found my frequency.

I’m currently an active Campaigner because I believe the country has drifted away from reason, logic, and critical thinking. Locally and nationally, people are being let down by a political class more interested in point-scoring than fixing problems. We need decent jobs, better housing, improved infrastructure, and real apprenticeships—not more spin.

When the time comes I hope to stand for election and I’ll push for practical reform, greater accountability, and a truly democratic voice for local people through more referenda. Above all, I’ll lead with honesty, stay accessible, and focus on results—not rhetoric."

“Reform UK speaks my language: reason, logic, and truth. It’s time our politics did too.”
