I am incredibly proud and humbled to have been elected as the first ever Reform UK councillor in Gosport, representing the Bridgemary ward. This result is not just about me — it’s about what we are building together as a local Reform UK branch, and the message local people sent loud and clear at the ballot box.
Despite heavy rain on polling day, a 32 per cent turnout showed just how much residents care about their community. I want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone in Bridgemary who took the time to vote, and to all those who placed their trust in me to represent them on Gosport Borough Council.
This win is the result of hard work on the ground — listening to residents, campaigning on local issues, and being visible and active in the community. Our Gosport branch has focused on real concerns: local services, infrastructure, accountability, and giving people a voice. We are not career politicians — we are local people standing up for our town.
For Reform UK Gosport, this election marks a major milestone. Winning our first council seat shows that people want change and are willing to support candidates who put community before politics. It proves that when we work together, challenge the status quo, and stay focused on local priorities, we can achieve real results.
Now the real work begins. As Bridgemary’s councillor, I am committed to working tirelessly for residents — raising concerns, asking the difficult questions, and pushing for practical, common-sense solutions that benefit our community.
This is only the beginning. Our current Reform UK Gosport campaign team is already working hard ahead of the upcoming May elections, and I look forward to seeing more Reform UK councillors elected across Gosport. With a stronger presence on the council, we can amplify local voices and deliver the change our town deserves.
Thank you again to everyone who supported us. Together, we are building something new for Gosport — and together, we can Reform Gosport.
