Colin is proud to serve as Reform UK Councillor for Grange & Alver Valley and Hardway, following the party’s strong gains across Gosport in the May 2026 local elections. With more than fifty years of local connection to the area, Colin brings a wealth of professional experience, strong community values, and a determination to help deliver real change for local residents.

Born in Portsmouth and raised largely in Gosport from the age of two, Colin was the first in his family to attend university, studying Banking, Insurance and Finance before building a successful career in the City of London. His career included almost twenty years in finance and a position at the Bank of England before moving into freelance consultancy.

In his younger years, Colin travelled extensively across Africa, India and Papua New Guinea, experiences that gave him a deep appreciation for Britain’s history, culture, tolerance, and sense of fair play. He believes strongly in protecting freedom of speech, democracy, and the values that have shaped the country for generations.

Having seen Gosport through both good times and difficult periods, Colin believes the town deserves stronger leadership, better investment, and practical improvements that genuinely benefit residents. He joined Reform UK because he believes politics should return to honesty, accountability, and common sense.

As Councillor for Grange & Alver Valley and Hardway, Colin is committed to listening to residents, standing up for the community, and working tirelessly to deliver positive change for the people he has proudly lived alongside for most of his life.
