ANTONY STANTON
Antony is a dedicated community campaigner for the Gosport Reform UK branch and played an active role in the recent campaign supporting Councillor Paul Carter. His commitment to Gosport is rooted in a lifetime of local involvement and a strong belief that positive change starts at community level.
Born in Portsmouth and raised in Gosport, Antony has deep and lasting ties to the area. From an early age, he has believed in stepping up and getting involved. His experience spans youth and school councils, organising school fundraising events, and serving as a governor at two local schools. These roles have given him a clear understanding of the challenges facing families, young people and local services, as well as the importance of strong leadership and accountability.
Antony stands with Reform UK because he believes politics must return to honesty, responsibility and common sense. He is passionate about protecting taxpayers’ money, cutting waste and bureaucracy, and ensuring decisions are made locally, not imposed from afar. He is a strong advocate for safeguarding vital services such as education and policing, which form the backbone of a safe and thriving community.
His priority is straightforward: to listen to residents, stand up for Gosport, and work tirelessly to deliver real, practical improvements that make a genuine difference to everyday life.
