Paul Carter
"My name is Paul Carter, and I am a long-standing community campaigner, local entrepreneur, and someone who cares deeply about the future of Gosport. I have spent many years supporting residents, championing local causes, and standing up for the services and standards our town deserves.
I am a retired commissioned officer in the Royal Air Force Reserve Training Branch, where I served for 10 years as a Flight Lieutenant with the cadet forces. During my time in uniform, I was proud to help deliver life-changing opportunities, training, and adventures to young people in our community. Supporting the cadets, helping them build confidence, leadership skills, and resilience, and watching them grow into outstanding young adults was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
Alongside my service, I am also a committed local entrepreneur, having co-founded and run several successful businesses here in Gosport. These businesses have allowed me to employ local people, support families, and contribute to the town’s economy. Community has always been at the heart of everything I do, and that approach remains central to how I run my businesses today.
Over the years, I’ve become a strong voice for residents—raising concerns about local services, campaigning for better infrastructure, helping clean up parks, supporting vulnerable individuals, and bringing people together to take real action. My updates and campaigns now reach thousands of local people, and I am proud to be one of the most engaged and active community figures in Gosport.
Everything I do is driven by a simple belief: Gosport deserves better, and real change starts with honest, hardworking, community-focused leadership.
I will continue working tirelessly to support our residents, speak up for our town, and push for a brighter, stronger future for Gosport".
