BRIDGEMARY DESERVES BETTER!

The mind boggles…

We still can’t get our heads around this.

Why did BOTH Lib Dem councillors for Bridgemary vote to remove £340,000 of funding from our ward?

That money was already budgeted to fully refurbish the sports pavilion and public toilets at Nobes Avenue — real, practical investment that would have directly benefited local residents, families, and sports clubs.

 A refurbished pavilion and usable public toilets would have been a huge asset for the Bridgemary community.

Instead…

 The £340k was taken away from Bridgemary and diverted to the Criterion Theatre project.

Bridgemary deserves investment just like this — but apparently our local Lib Dem ward councillor Steve Hammond doesn’t think the community does.

 We guess he knows best…?
