James Figgins

"I was born in Portsmouth and have been a resident of Gosport since 2006. I have worked in Gosport since 2001, from being an apprentice at Fleetlands to now being an instructor in aircraft maintenance. I am a strong supporter of our armed forces, who I am proud to work alongside.

I am a Union Rep and strongly believe in the fairness of us common folk and to see we are treated with respect. I have helped many an organisation or charity and would love to carry on supporting the people of Gosport, Lee-on-the-Solent, and Hill Head.

I have followed the political world for a while now and am ashamed of the state it has become. I want to show openness of our Council, scrap unnecessary spending and waste. Revive the life back into our gem in the small corner of this great country. To support our main party in its approach to tackling all that is wrong. I will listen to your voices and opinions, good or bad, and endeavour to always give an honest answer. Freedom of speech is paramount to this. I want our people to feel safe in our area and would work hard to get this.
