James is proud to serve as Reform UK Councillor for Forton, following the party’s strong gains across Gosport in the May 2026 local elections. With years of experience working locally and a strong belief in fairness, honesty, and community spirit, James is committed to helping deliver real change for residents.

Born in Portsmouth and living in Gosport since 2006, James has worked in the area since 2001, beginning as an apprentice at Fleetlands before becoming an instructor in aircraft maintenance. Through his work alongside members of the armed forces, he has developed a deep respect for service, discipline, and the importance of supporting those who protect our country.

As a Union Representative, James has always believed in standing up for ordinary working people and ensuring they are treated fairly and with respect. He has supported a number of local organisations and charities over the years and remains passionate about helping the wider community across Gosport and the surrounding areas.

James joined Reform UK because he believes local politics should be open, accountable, and focused on residents rather than unnecessary spending and bureaucracy. He wants to see Gosport thrive again, with safer communities, stronger local pride, and councillors who genuinely listen to local people.

As Councillor for Forton, James is committed to being approachable, honest, and hardworking for residents. He believes freedom of speech, transparency, and community involvement are essential to building a better future for Gosport.
