Easter Message

"I want to wish all of you a very happy Easter and hope you get to spend some quality time with family, friends, and those that are close to you. But maybe just pause for a moment — whether you're a Christian, whether you're a churchgoer or not — remember what Easter is.
This is the most important Christian festival of the year. And actually, our whole country, our whole civilisation, is built on a Judeo-Christian culture. So spare a thought for that.
It's funny because you get political leaders who want to be filmed advertising Eid, Ramadan — it seems almost every religious and cultural tradition from other parts of the world — but no one seems to want to stand up and say: this is a Christian holiday.
Well, I'm saying it.
God bless."
